This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered Crusader Kings 3 Royal Edition. I'm way too much of a fan boy of Paradox to not get it. I've gotten hundreds of hours out of CK2 and Stellaris. I bring this all up because I will be playing CK3 on September 1st. Deus Vult Ladies and Gents, Deus Vult.
Playing: Lords of Olympus, Amber Diceless, Tales of Gor
Running: Vampire the Masquerade 5e, Lords of Olympus

I love a lot of their games, like Stellaris and Europa Universalis, but could not get into Crusader Kings 2. I did download Wasteland 3 and did not start yet.

Let us know how it is. I'm an old school Wasteland fan from back in the day.

I finished Carrion. Fun game, if you like being the eldritch horror eating people for a change :)

I liked Carrion too, a horrific puzzle game shooter platform that is very enjoyable in terms of graphics and gameplay.

My one complaint is that it DESPERATELY needs a map. I know it's a throwback to Metroidvania games but the environments are NOT as linear as those older games. I wound up having to go online and find maps just to track down the last couple of boosts I'd missed.

I also liked Carrion, but beyond the lack of a map (weird oversight, really) what bothered me more was the abysmally short playtime.

Was done in ~5 hours with most boosts unlocked.
My thoughts were "Cool! I got all the abilities, now the game can start for real. Felt a bit like a long tutorial so far." - and just an hour or so after, the credits rolled.

I really hope they can make a sequel with more meat (hehehe) on its bones.
The game was a success and the ending definitely makes room for a sequel, so fingers crossed!
