This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Video games - what are you playing?

I'm playing Planet Explorers in Adventure Mode. I've been playing it since early access on Steam. It's pretty casual for a survival game, and I kind of like the crafting system. It's not bad if you like building with voxels. If you don't, you can get stuff people made in Workshop and just pay the resources to make them in game. That's mostly what I do because it's quicker and lets me get back to exploring and shooting dinosaur aliens.

Voros

I didn't have access to my PC or PS4 for months. Anything amazing to check out?

I play path of exile , for months now. It's free to play (completely f2p, no game changing microtrasnactions either). The best game for hack&slash hardcore fans:)

Krimson

Since there are two identical threads, including the necroposted older one which has been resurrected, maybe the threads should be merged? Or one locked?

Horizon Zero Dawn. Watching that game makes me want to buy a PS4.

Toadot

Just been playing a few indie RPGs on my Nintendo Switch at the moment.

The old Nerverwinter nights 1 license has been picked up by Beamdog.com.

I've been messing with this and it's a lot of fun.

I still have the original and NWN2 installed. I spent a lot of time in persistent worlds. I'll keep an eye open and see if this one is worth the purchase.

If you're a storyfag 2017 was glorious: Nier: Automata, Hellblade: Senua Sacrifice, and What Remains of Edith Finch are amazing. For gameplayfags, Persona 5 is good if you like the style, Xcom War of the Chosen is superb, and I've heard only good things of Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Arkansan

So many hours of Rising Storm 2 : Vietnam.

I've also started Skyrim again with some quality of life and lore focused mods, I've never actually finished the main quest line so I'm going to give that a go.

Picked up Vermintide II last night. Brutally fun.

It's Left For Dead + Overwatch PvE + RPG + Warhammer skin

Good times!

Currently playing: WoW Progression Raiding, Battlefield 1, Civ IV

Been playing some Tabetop simulator
I played some DnD 5e using it and other various boardgames.
It's a lot of fun and for tabletop RPGs, better than Roll20.
