This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I played the first one a little, but I have played the second one quite a bit since release, and come back to it still and can get good quality time out of it.  Anyone here play this?  It is more of an action/shooter with rpg elements glued on, but they are glued on well.

Played it a ton with my GF.
I'd really consider it the best co-op game (within that genre) out there.

We stopped playing as soon as we hit Veteran, though, as my GF couldn't quite keep up at that level - while I got somewhat bored of anything below it.
Plus, we had already played all the classes, found our favourites, knew all the maps, etc.

Playing with random people was a nightmare, though, as people would just run off or do other stupid crap to get everyone killed.
One of the few instances where bots are genuinely more useful than other people.

It's a shame that Fat Shark is so slow in producing more content.
Though I think we'll come back once Kerillian, Victor & Sienna get new classes - if that ever happens, that is.
Hopefully at that time, there'd be some new maps as well so it would be enough content to get back into the game.
