Jailbroke my iPhone and came across an add for this on Cydia.  I've signed up for the beta, we'll see if I get in.

That (Probably?) means it would work, if I was near a wifi point, but if I'm near a wifi point then I'm at home, at work, or in town and busy, whereas this looks like something that would be great for "outdoors and not busy".
