This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'm amazed there isn't more buzz in the RPG community about this, since it brings our great nemesis into something a little more like us.

I've had a few goes with it and its far easier and more intuitive than NWN's editor, though necessarily more limited.  This sort of thing seems to be bridging the technical gap between TTRPGs and CRPGs and this one actually includes other people!

Be interesting to see what NWN2 ends up doing and whether its editor is easier than NWN1.

The third post mainly.

J Arcane

I'm very intrigued by the game, and am pondering downloading the trial tonight and giving it a shot.  On paper, Saga of Ryzom sounds REALLY DAMN COOL.  But I've heard it doesn't really live up to it's promises.

Since it's a free trial though, it's not like I'm out anything for trying it though.

I feel that it's starting to live up to its promise.
I also feel that despite limitations its the best MMORPG for roleplaying at the moment.

If you need a hand once you're trialling send me a tell.  'Jyudas' on Arispotle.
