Title: The Martian Investigations - a game inspired by Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective
Post by: robindavid on October 30, 2015, 02:57:35 PM
Inspired by games like Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective and Arkham Investigator, I recently wrote my own deduction game, named The Martian Investigations. This game is set on a futuristic Mars-based mining and research colony. Players take on the role of Detective Hayley Bendis looking into a succession of grisly murders and, like in the games that served as inspiration, players are given total freedom to conduct their investigation as they wish, providing a true test of intellect and wit.

The game takes between 40mins to 1hour to complete, depending on how thorough you are and if you play solo or in a group.

If you want to learn more about the game, you can read my blog entry here (http://www.robindavid.info/2015/10/the-martian-investigations-story-based.html).

Feel free to ask any questions about the project.

And lastly, if you want to try the game out yourself, you can find it here (https://payhip.com/b/hSDG). There's also a 7-page previous you can check out on that link. Total cost for the first case is $2, but there's a 50c discount if you tweet about it!
