This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

  1. A robot may not harm a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
   2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
   3. A robot must protect its own existence, as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

There is one thing I have always liked about Will Wright - he is a gamer, making games for gamers.  That is always a good thing.

We are very interested in the seemingly endless possibilities of this game. We will most likely play it a lot when it comes out.

It's been a while since I was all tingly about an upcoming game. This preview gave me that feeling again--that there is something new under the gaming sun. Coolness.

I was amazed--every time I thought the demo was done, he pulled back to show a new perception and larger scope.  I don't do a lot of electronic gaming, but Spore is gonna have to be an exception.

Perhaps I missed it, but any idea what the system requirements might be for the PC version?

Dunno, but I'd undoubtedly have to get a new PC before loading this puppy up.

If it's as expansive as it looks, it might just be worth it.  Not that I need an excuse for myself to get a new PC, but I may have to start formulating the pitch to the wife... :)
