This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Speak to me of Alpha Protocol

I'm finishing up my 4th playthrough of ME2, and I've still got the rpg bug.  I've heard good things about Alpha Protocol, but I couldn't get past how frustrating the hacking and security mini-games were.  I gave up in frustration, but now I'd like to give it a second shot.

Tell me what you liked/disliked about the game.  How does it compare with Mass Effect 2 in terms of plot/storyline?  I can overlook quirky game play elements if the overall experience is good.

I think the ai of the guards is abit to good in places tbh, i want it to be tough to sneak past them but not so tough that if i mess up once im screwed for getting past them again due to there now being 3 times as many guards most of whome are constantly looking in my direction.  My friend enjoys it though but agree's the hacking subgame is abit annoying in places.
