This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Settlers of Catan computer game multiplayer?
« on: May 29, 2006, 11:02:08 PM »
I dloaded the game awhile ago, and even paid the cash to register it.  The game works great in it's single player play, the computer AI's work decently well and make good decisions. (though they do quit trading with you after you hit 6 points or so, which human players might not)

I'm just wondering if anyone here has dropped the $30 for the ability to play multiplayer via MSN?  If so, does it play well? Are there a decent amount of players online to choose from, or do you pretty much need to find your own?
"Dr.Who and CoC are, on the level of what the characters in it do, unbelievably freaking similar. The main difference is that in Dr. Who, Nyarlathotep is on your side, in the form of the Doctor."

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I'll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.
