This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

[Savage Worlds] Rippers Facebook Game
« on: July 28, 2009, 02:59:11 PM »
For those interested, Pinnacle Entertainment released a Rippers Facebook game this morning.

Rippers, for those that don't know, is Victorian monster hunting for Savage Worlds.

If you like the Facebook games (I go in spurts), its well worth checking out.  Just some tips...recruit, recruit, recruit, THEN worry about fighting...I've spent all morning recovering from not knowing what I was doing and walking into fight after fight...=P

Anyway, there's a blurb about it on Pinnacle's website at http://www.peginc.com

Cool. Cool use of the Internet to promote a product.

Shane's hinted that if it's a success, there could be more.

I agree, though...nice use of the social networking to try to get some promotion.
