So I will let you guys in on a sad secret, I play miniature wargames solo. I have a bunch of Warhammer miniatures but the time I have to paint is limited and I am itching to try a few games relatively quickly. So does anyone know of any paper miniatures that would work for Warahmmer fantasy? Like I said I have plenty of minis it just takes me forever to get a decent amount painted, I figure paper minis would get my playing whilst I take my sweet times painting.

That is sad indeed. Have you considered Pathfinder's Pawns? Also, I assume you heard about Fallout: Warfare? It's actually pretty cool, I played a few games of it baaaack in the day of Fallout Tactics.

You could head on over to Cool Mini or Not.  Grab pictures from miniatures that work for your game and turn them into paper miniatures via a graphics program like Paint.Net, GIMP or Photoshop.  It takes a certain amount of work, but has to be faster than painting and you can print out multiples of one mini.

This is basically what I'm doing trying to get a game of Flying Lead off the ground on Roll20.

Back when I played Warhammer, I would just get scissors and cut out various rectangles for the units, snipping off troops as they died. I'd even write the stats on the slips of paper, for quicker reference. I know some folks consider it "ghetto", but I like to see what everything does on the battlefield.

There is a drawback, however. One day, my girlfriend visited, and saw all these slips of paper on the floor. She decided it was a mess, and gathered them all up into a neat little pile.

The goblin and Imperial troops involved are traumatized to this day...

Hah, that's how I used to proxy as well! There was one particular funny instance, as we played two proxy armies, and my mate forgot about his wood elf hero for the entire game (just got lost amidst the slips of paper).

Hadn't thought about making paper minis out of pics of actual minis. I will have to give fallout warfare a try, I had heard of it but for some reason just haven't got around to it. As to my Fallout: Arkansas the game never materialized but I have a binder with town outlines, faction write ups and adventure hooks. I suspect like the Great Pendragon Campaign, Fallout: Arkansas will be on of those holy grail games that I am always chasing. I also am not opposed to just cutting out slips of paper, hell I play hex and counter wargames and that's not really that much different visually than just cutting out some slips of paper.

The 'fantasy' section is gone, and the quality might not be the best -- though that's less notable with small scale and large numbers -- but Junior General has quite a selection for wargaming:
