I wanted a Githyanki miniature to represent my Pathfinder character, so I got the 2 pack of Githyanki from the Nozlur's Marvelous Miniatures line.
These are soft plastic miniatures that come with a thin base, and pre-primed.
Right out of the package, my first concerns turned out true. There were mold lines and flash that had been primed over. I took my seam scraper and tried to clean them up a bit.
The weapons on both miniatures were bent. This is an easy fix. Dunk in hot water, straighten (they sometimes straighten out themselves, one of mine got right into shape after the dunk) and then dunk in cold water to set. That didn't bother me so much.
So, can you paint them right out of the package? Meh. Maybe if the mold lines don't bug you. For the price (6 bucks for a two pack) it's not terrible though.
