This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Bwahahahahahahaha!!!

Wow! Well rawma, for your safety and the safety of your virtue signalling, I guess that you should put me on ignore and use the report function button to get rid of me. Since I'm a "stalker", you know.

That memory of yours sure is starting to fail on you, ain't it? Probably all that pseudointellectual leftist thinking you wallow in is causing you brain damage.

Munchkin is an okay time waster, but I never get its popularity as a competitive game at cons. The joke cards are cute and there's a bit of strategy in some aspects. I know kids generally enjoy it a great deal, especially the changing race or half-breeding yourself into a half-elf, half-dwarf and certainly the fun of mixing up the genre decks. Not something I'd buy, but I've never complained with people broke it out while we waited for someone to show up. Except these days with the explosion of games from KS, there lots more options for filler games than 20 years ago.

Cutting and pasting something inaccurate doesn't count. We can wait while you find something accurate to copy, though.

To whomever cleans jeff37923 when he soils himself: jeff37923 becomes incapable of verbal expression when he is stressed, and posts repetitions of a single meaningless word or random images regardless of their appropriateness. Please evaluate him for dementia and see that he receives appropriate treatment. Thank you.

Geez, Jeff, Rawma's got a point here...switch to decaf, let it go. If only someone had thought that one fustercluck of a thread was a bad idea to let fester...

Anyway, I have Munchkin, but only played it a few times. It's too easy for the rest of the players to gang up on whoever's winning, and I always find that sort of thing obnoxious. Still, it's not without charm, easy to teach, and amusing enough for the bargain bin. Buy it, play it two or three times, and you won't regret a small investment. I have no clue how anyone could sink money into the expansions and whatnot, but perhaps I just didn't play it enough to see any real depth to the game.

A nice education blog.

No.

Look back at this thread, give it a good read. Rawma had no interest until he read a complaint about the Change Your Sex result in Munchkin. That triggered him and he got his panties in a wad over someone's individual personal gaming preferences that do not affect anyone outside of that person's gaming group. I'm sick and tired of this reborn Moral Majority we've got crapping on everyone who doesn't toe the same virtues they signal.

The sequels are arguably better than the base game, as they are usually focused on a particular genre (space, pirates, vampires, etc). Some people love the kitchen sink mix and match you can do.

Hello, my beloved friend and future ally:). This Munchkin game that you spoke of earlier, how many players can play at the same time? And do you need to cough up alot of extra bucks for expansion packs and similar stuff?
