I find these days I am playing MMO's more then I am playing regular rpgs.  I don't know what it is but I seem to get more enjoyment out of it.

  I seem to enjoy playing MMOs  more then playing regluar rpgs.

  Anyone else getting more enjoyment out of mmos then they are out of regular rpgs?

I have been playing quite a bit of NWN2 in single player, but unfortunatly its multiplayer is not that impressive .

More play but not more enjoyment.
We were playing Ryzom and have shifted to DDO and betaing LOTRO.
I'm stuck getting my fix there because I live remotely and all my old gaming group have spawned or are broke or have moved away.

I'm playing MMO's (in particular CoX) much more than I'm doing TTRPGs because we can only get the group together once a month

As for enjoyment, last session my players were riding in an ice cream van being chased down a tunnel in the Netherworld by a pack of demonic hot rods.  The van was being driven by an NPC called "Trev the Rev" (an Anglican priest, played by Tom Baker) who turned to them and said "Don't worry, we're nearly there now.  Everything's going to be fine." just as the tunnel widened out into a huge caven and an attack chopper rose into sight

Tabletop crew can only manage once a month.  WOW is there 24/7, so hell yes I'm playing MMOs more often than TRPGs.

Pretty much the same as others: TT crew isn't together as much, the MMO is alomost always available free time wise.

I'm hooked on Oblivion even worse than I was hooked on Morrowind, and my tabletop group is only meeting once every 3/4 weeks (this coming Sunday will be the first in 10 weeks, unless someone is ill/working again).
I've been tempted by WoW for some time, but I've deliberately put if off as I've got a house I'm supposed to be renovating.

I at present am, indeed, playing WoW more than tabletop, many because my tabletop/WoW group sort of gave up on the tabletop side of things after the unpteenth game crashed and burned.

And now I'm stuck in the woods, basically.  I may have to get over my aversion to online TRPGing.  

I've got a lot of free time right now though, what with being stranded in the woods, so I'm thinking once I've got a working prototype of my post-apoc game, I might wind up having to give my first real go at GMing, if'n I want to playtest it, unless I can some other poor fool into doing the GM part.

I wouldn't necessarily say I'm enjoying WoW more, I don't see them as entirely the same thing, so the comparison is off.  They both have their perks, really.

Your lucky that you can find a group that gets together that regularly.

Sounds like fun, I dig post-apoc.  I am working on a game right now using D6 Space that has Aliens elements as well as other elements

I see MMOs and tabletop RPGs as two completely different things even if one was inspired out of the other.  

As for time spent I was going to say more raw time spent with MMOs but if you include prep time for my game or so it would really have to depend on the weak.  

I have good luck with tabletop groups, a close group of friends who enjoy each others company and playing together.  I've not had as much luck with MMOs

I'm a moderate so I never really find a good group to play MMOs with.  I don't care about heavy raiding but want a group that enjoys playing together.  I want  in character context to my play time and grouping but don't want angst teenage poser crap or forum rp to be a big part of it.  I just don't have much luck finding people I like to play with in MMOs.

On the rare occasions I find fun folks to play with either the level disbursement makes it impossible to play or game frustrations drive them out of the game.

To be flatly honest, while I enjoy playing WoW, and have enjoyed a couple others in the past, I really don't like talking about them much.

For one, I don't actually like the vast majority of MMOs out there, and for two, I tend to strongly dislike hardcore MMO fans.

Sorry, but there's not really going to be much to offer for me there.

Have to agree, talking is kind of pointless with MMOs. They are what they are so hitting forums about them is usually just chasing your tail.  MMOs are as static as they come.  At least talking about RPGs you can take that stuff to the table with you and maybe enjoy the game more.

I'm in an incredible shrinking minority.  I've never played an MMORPG.  

I've played Diablo on single player.  I played Warcraft 2 with other people, and I played Wolfenstein 3d once online.

That's it for online gaming for me, and I haven't done it since Wolfenstein 3d came out...so it's been a few years.

Alternatively, I play tabletop RPGs once a week (a steady Vampire game) seasoned with minis on Thursdays and today for a special treat I'm going to the game store for a pick game of something.  Hopefully C&C, but maybe InSpectres.

Point taken.  I have had the site up for awhile but there hasn't been any interest so I have taken it down and will either try to sell it or just let it expire.
