Title: Mass Effect Hints
Post by: Seanchai on December 19, 2007, 11:52:28 AM
When firing in the Mako, pull the left trigger and click the right thumbstick. That'll bring up a scope type sight, complete with range finder. Makes combat in the Mako do-able.

When fighting the Geth Armatures and similar beasties in the Mako, you can jump over their energy balls rather easily by firing your jump jets at the right time. Makes the Colossus fights rather simple.

You can also ram them and knock them down, or if lucky have them stuck on you while firing at them!

I finished four and a half play throughs. I didn't even get all the Achievements. It can be done, but - here's the hint - plan, plan, plan.

Don't play the "multiclass" characters if you're after Achievements, stick to Solider, Adept or Engineer.

Know what crew members you want to get the Ally Achievements for and get those allies in your party before you start on any of the other quests, including the little Citadel ones.

Enemy snipers in Insanity mode suck ass.
