So I got my hands on a copy they other day. It won't be released for a couple weeks, and while I didn't get a chance to play it, I got to dig through the box and all the goodies inside.
My opinion? It looks really, really nice. It's set at a price point of $50, and that is very cheap for what appears to be an extremely well made game with a lot of stuff in it. And everyone I talked to who has played it has said it might be a shoe in for the best game of 2012.
It is a boardgame, but it's not a D&D boardgame like most of the others. Rather, it seems to be a resource management game with the lore and history of Waterdeep tied in. I really can't wait to actually play a session.
