THE OTHERS: 7 SINS on Kickstarter
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coolminiornot/the-others-7-sins/description

The minis look INSANE, and there's over 50 minis for $100, but I have not seen any reviews about the actual gameplay. Can anyone tell me about the game beyond the minis?

The minis look awesome for Rifts or Gamma World.

EDIT: for reasons unknown, my Image Fu hath failed me. Instead of pics, I give thee the above linkage!

Tarnation, funding period already over. :(

A nice education blog.

Late Backer Button is a thing these days.

Appreciate the effort, but it says "late pledges are now closed." Still, good to know. I'll try to console myself when Conan finally arrives.

Huh?
It works for me (and apparently Spinachcat too). I see a 'Buy Now' button.
Good luck.

Most of the kickstarter games I've bought this year were through late pledges: Conan, Blood Rage and ZBP.

Those all had minis I could use to make them do double duty in rpgs.

7 Sins might be the only one of those that I buy just for the board-game itself. The demos look like a lot of fun.

I've been to Essen yesterday. I managed to buy some products that were last year on KS at a fraction of the Kickstarter step-in cost. True, I didn't get the extras and stretch goals but I also dodged the huge shipping costs.
I'm gonna be more selective on which projects I back next year.
For example I would love to back Delta Green but at $40 shipping it becomes more sensible to await buying in my FLGS.

But my, those CMoN Kickstarters are always very profitable!

I jump in 7 Sins half for the game and half to use the monster minis in RPGs. For $100, I am getting 58 monsters and 18 hero figs that can be slotted into any Modern vs. Monster game, plus another 30+ minis that can show up as minions, etc. $1 per mini works for me, especially after the kudos CMoN got for Blood Rage.

I read a bunch on the gameplay and its sounds awesome. 90 minute gameplay - chewy, but not draggy. More strategic than tactical - aka different than Zombicide and Conan. Insane replay in the main box - 4 types of missions x 7 sins which each play differently x random board setup x 18 PCs who play differently as you assemble your team.

$100 for a boardgame alone wouldn't grab me. I dropped $150 on Conan to replace Warhammer Quest and the gazillion minis will see double duty in a some Conan RPG or other S&S game. Also, 'cuz Conan.

Now I just gotta drop $1000 to pay for the paint jobs!!

EDIT: also, the resale value on the KS will be top notch if I ever get bored of the games.
