Am I the only addicted to this game?

I don't normally like rhythm games like DDR, but getting the chance to rock out to Iron Man on lead guitar was too much for me to resist.

It's a PS 2 game.

Basically, it's a package with the game and what looks like a cheap, toy guitar. The guitar's fret board has five colored buttons on it, a whammy bar, and a clicky thing that you strum. The guitar is the game's controller.

The game plays a song, and you have to "play" the guitar along with the rhythm of the song. There's sequences of colored notes that scroll across the screen sort of like karaoke. You have to hit the proper colored button on the fret board and strum the guitar in proper time.

It's really cool because the integration between what you hear on the game and the movements you make to manipulate the guitar are really well matched. When you're tearing through Iron Man, it really feels like you're actually playing the song.

Cool. As a fan of Singstar, I'll check that one out.

The game is great. I really like it even if I'm no guitar player and quite clumsy :)
