While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). i like the way the guide pretty much nails fortunes tower for the waste of time it really is, keystone is the only one worth playing and as said even then its pretty much pointless...pitty lionhead made it so that if u want the full 1000 points on fable 2 u have to play the pub games for the expressions and stuff which sucks.

nice find.

I'm skipping the pub games and working as a blacksmith instead. I made enough to buy a modest house last night.

i started taking the games masters to sacrifice atr the temple, but ive decided to be good now.

What i would like to find is a list of all the ways to get your alignment/purity up. Waving around trophies and dancing just seems to do little more than make fat housewives fancy me. It's like some kind of medieval internet chatroom.
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

purity u can increase by eating celery and other non meat based foods (tofu is a good one) as for alignment im not 100% sure on that

Playing the lute and donating to the Temple of Light will raise purity. Also lowering rental and shop prices will gain you purity as well. Trophies earn you renwon and a little love, no purity that I know of. Not sure if anything other than loot playing (form the socials) gains you purity.

but what about being good? What is it that you can do, other than a few missions that increase your goodness?

This is where it falls down a bit. Not stealing isn't really a fun gameplay option, while running around town waving your sword, breaking, entering and stealing probably benefit you more (as well as raising everyone's rents).

Buying real estate is an upward spiral. I had 13,000 gold pieces waiting for me when I started up the game. Which I then invested in real estate, hoping that I'd have even more when I get home tonight.

Join another player's game and, if their character seeks to be good, slaughter their family and screw around with the villagers and watch their game go to shit.

Clever eh!

Man, the ability to earn income while not playing is sweet. Off on business for a week and come back to over 1 million gold. ;p

Indeed it is. I had 17,000 GP waiting for me when I got home. I bought another house in the short time I played last night and so I'm hoping for a bit more tonight.

Tips wise, I accidentally gave presents to another woman in front of my wife. She wasn't happy and ran away. I caught up to her and screwed up again, giving a present to another random NPC.

There was something else I was going to mention, but I forgot it.

Don't give a ring to a wife (no rings after marriage!)... if you end up moving or she is killed, the hose is bugged and you can't sell/rent it.

i married the furniture seller, and then found that, as my wife and the only furniture seller in town, i couldn't buy furniture!

Good job i didn't marry the blacksmith.

Though to be honest marriage in the game is a pain in the ass. Nagging wives in video games? No thanks!

Yeah, that is a bug. If the town's economy gets to 5 stars she stops stocking stuff. If you willing to take the purity hit, you can jack up the prices of all the property you own and drive the prices down. Once the economy level drops she will start stocking stuff again.
