This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Ghost Whistler

FFS why did I buy this cheap piece of shit.

Crap graphics, ok I can make my peace with them since the game is 60 odd hours of rpg fun, the sort of game I rarely get to play on the console.

Broken questlines and FUCKING TINY text (the sort that makes Dead Rising 1 look like a Titantron) and a dreadful map/quest location interface I cannot.

The fucking game is unplayable. I'm in a bandit camp in a swamp and the questlines revolve around a power struggle below an absent leader figure you are trying to gain access to. Unfortunately the quests smash into each other and fail leaving me at an unplayable empasse.

Is there any excuse for this sort of screw up?

Yawn. It's almost pathalogical.

As is the response.

Ghost Whistler

Then why respond? If the posting is predictable and not edifying, why are you posting? Got nothing better to do? This is just trolling and it certainly dont' give you the moral high ground.

It is! I'd love to talk about games - I've got the collector's editions of both Fable III and Force Unleashed - getting ready to be mine, but a conversation is more than just bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark! bark!

How is Fable III? I really, really liked Fable II. :)

As for the Force Unleashed, I like it a lot too.

Hopefully Fable 3 will be at least as good as the previous 2, the create a villager thing they have running for pre order customers looks fun aswell....though why all the villagers i create look like rejects from sweeney todd is a mystery :)

Then talk about games. Don't resort to the kind of cheap ad hom bullshit that goes on in the purple house. I'm not going to let some twat get away with abusive trolling and if you want to do more of the same then you can fuck off as well. Either discuss this game or fuck off. I didn't post anything abusive about you or numbnuts above so why should i be the fucking victim of this kind of crap?

F3 looks rather similar to F2 and Molyneux dissembles a lot. he's an affable sort with lots of great ideas that unfortunately never really come off and this fact is often hidden by the hype surrounding his work. I would love to give F3 the benefit of the doubt, but games aren't cheap. I will be waiting for some of the more discerning sections of the review community to post before deciding what to do. Even then i'll probably only get it when i'm done with New Vegas which, providing it's not as buggy as Fallout 3, will be awesome.

FU2 is a prettier clone of FU1 from the demo. The gameplay is basically the same. Not my cup of tea.

You're quite right. My apologies.

C'mon, you're just going to deepen his conviction that he is actually some kind of victim.
