Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). From Wikipedia:

"Some have criticized the show for how it delivers its messages, saying, for example, that the show is unnecessarily violent and teaches children that it is all right to kill people who don't share their faith, as the villains are often graphically melted or blown up. As noted, some also feel that the show, in the Wacky Protestor, tries to teach its audience that free thought or not maintaining the status quo is sinful. Some also claim that the villains are portrayed as effeminate to indoctrinate children to hate homosexuals."

Bibleman...ah Bibleman...I rememeber when I ran across one of his videos in the bargain bin.  The video looked like one that was included in TSRs DragonStrike boxed set...you know, you get your friends to dress up in crazy costumes and with your production budget of $5 and a pizza from Pizza Hut, produce a quality show.

Anyway, he also has action figures.

I wonder if anybody noticed that Bibleman has Crescent Moon symbols on his armour.  :D

My nephew the ninja has some Bibleman stuff.  The action figure is surprisingly well made.  The show is like a dark mirror universe version of all the cartoons I like where liberal values and science! save the day through the timely application of violence.  Yes, there is room to critique it's politics, but it is also a fun adventure show with light sabre fights.

I'm sad to tell you that "Rock 'n Roll Worship Circus" apparently changed their name to "The Listening".

What a way to de-awesome a band.

I like the fact that Bibleman comes with the "Holy Bible" accessory.  That's cool because you could have your "Friday the 13th" Jason figure holding his machete in one hand and the bible in the other...puts a whole new spin on his character.  "I'm a killing machine.....for God!!!!"

It's the kind of show I could see getting into if I had a kid.  My kid could enjoy it for the lightsabers, I could enjoy it in an MST3K kind of way.

You need to get your nephew to dress up as Bibleman (they have the cloak/mask and the lightsaber..er..lightsword for sale).

They just cranked their "awesome" dial down from 11 to around 1.5

Coming from the Wikipedia page, it looks like the guy who voiced the WASPish leader of the D&D cartoon gang is... Bibleman!
Well, the first one, at least. Seems they changed the actor.

I wonder who the final evil "boss" will be. Could it be... Satan?

Heh.  The rest of the world knows Willie Aames as the actor from the shows "Eight is Enough" and "Charles in Charge".  Around here, he's the voice of Hank the Ranger.

Aames recently appeared on a celebrity 'fat camp' reality show where he made a spectacular ass of himself.

Dr Rotwang!

Briefly, in college, I played a loose PBM with a friend in which I represented a top-secret intelligence organization and my buddy was an "agent".

His task: Bump off Scott Baio, going through Willie Aames and Erin Moran if need be.  The operation was codenamed "Charles In Charge".

I think it failed.
