This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Dragon Age by far.  I highly recommend taking a look at it and, if possible, grabbing DA:O Ultimate Edition.  It is easily one of the best recent fantasy RPGs and the Ultimate Edition comes with all the DLC and the expansion, Dragon Age: Awakenings.

It'll keep you busy for a long while. :)

Uncharted 2 is a bit cheesy in places and while the gameplay isn't terribly earth shattering in terms of being innovative, the graphics are astonishing. It's third person action adventure (ie a bit of climbing, jumping and shooting). Excellent voice acting and coop modes.

I rather miss it actually. We on the xbox have to make do with crap like Halo and the highly broken Gears of War.
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

I could never get into Oblivion? Although I was sorely disappointed with Dragon Age's graphics, I did enjoy it.

Dragon Age is a better game, but Oblivion should be really cheap at GameStop. And if you like it, I guarantee months of play time with it.

Also, with DA, I recommend the PC version over PS3, as the controls are much, much easier to use.

It's graphically meh on the consoles, but I have the PC version and I have to say it's quite good looking when you have all the bells and whistles going.
"In a way, the Lands of Dream are far more brutal than the worlds of most mainstream games. All of the games set there have a bittersweetness that I find much harder to take than the ridiculous adolescent posturing of so-called \'grittily realistic\' games. So maybe one reason I like them as a setting is because they are far more like the real world: colourful, crazy, full of strange creatures and people, eternal and yet changing, deeply beautiful and sometimes profoundly bitter."

The console version is dreadful.
