This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Actually it's part of the new Horror Clix line, something that I don't play but the figures look cool.  This however is one I think I'll definitely have to snap up, it's just to cool to pass up.

and some more pics from the game

Man, living at the bottom of the ocean all these years has given the Great Old One a beer belly and horrendous posture.

Pretty damn cool, not sure it worth the cost, but damn cool.
  1. A robot may not harm a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
   2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
   3. A robot must protect its own existence, as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

We believe that one thread to which you refer is a news-story comments thread (found in the "site comments" forum), while the other is the thread here.

Due to the nature of the system, the comments on any news story, blog entry, feature article, story hour, or other created content will generate a thread in the site comments forum.

There is no need for a thread merge. :)

I'm still waiting for the Sota Toys Nightmares of H.P. Lovecraft Cthulhu Figure. The date keeps getting pushed back and now I can't even find him on their home page. I'm afraid the stars may never be right!
Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side? Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide.

That one wins.  However I think I'll get them both and see which Cthulhu wins for Cthulhu supremecy.

Then this is the game for you:

http://www222.pair.com/sjohn/pokethulhu.htm

That is not dead which can eternal lie,
and with strange aeons even death may die!
To bring down our masters on an icy night,
And to claim the power when the stars are right . . .
Derleth! Bloch! Team Eibon!
Stand fast to resist our rage . . .
Or flee to the safety of a new dark age!
