It has 0 out of ten ratings, no fans, and no comments, and it came out about 3 years ago, so Im not sure by what standard it's "top of the hotness"

It must have something to do with the semen stains on the cover.

The "hotness" list, as far as I know, is based on how often the entries for the games have been viewed lately. So there's a good chance that either a recent comment somewhere else is prompting people to look it up, or else the counter's picking up search engine hits for "camwhores" or whatnot.

Hotness is essentially meaningless.

It is a baromiter of what people are currently looking at alot. Ot came up on search engines enough to ping the hotness and then it snowballs.

Sometimes there are hox campaigns to artifically bloat the hotness with some item meant to piss people off. The admin tend to let it happen. I know. I reported one and was told that it would pass and to just ignore it.

BGG and RPGG and whatever Hotess is meaningless. Their rating system isnt much better since it seeds in dummy votes to balance out high and low votes.

Cause other systems work a lot better ...

BTW: Slipperboy and I (RPG guys) just became the #2 and #4 reviewers on the site. We'd be #1 and #2 if the pro/semi=pro boardgame reviewers were tossed out. (Those guys get paid or get free samples.)

Eh, BGG really shouldnt have a ratings system at all. But such is.

As for paid reviewers. I tend to consider them compromised and unreliable. The ones that beg or demand free games I have even less use for.

Because is a... ya know... RPG possibly and because, oh I dont know... The OP wanted to know how it could have gotten on the listing?

Try paying attention. It helps.

Its from the 24 hour RPG contest. Write a RPG using two words as a basis. The author choose Amazons and Lust.

It is essentially a 2 player storytelling game using a deck of cards against eachother.
