Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If the processor is a P4 Core 2 Duo then in Canada I'd expect to pay around $180 for it.  If it's just a single core about $130.  That software is all free software aside so it brings no value.  The 40gb HDD is small - freakishly so.  The video card is also out dated.

When you say play online games what do you mean, Flash web games or WoW, DDO, Guild Wars 2, etc.... if it's the later it's not well equiped to handle them.  Also take into consideration most of those games have around a 6gb installation.

There is no such thing.

And no, it's an awful deal. But I am no expert. Look around, I expect you will find better.

True.  There is no such thing as a P4 Core 2 Duo chip.  It's technically just a Core 2 Duo (which is a P6).  But I constantly see quotes coming in from resellers that don't know what they are listing and list chips as p4 and p4 core 2 because P4 is a recognizable name.

But I agree with rezinzar converting that price to canadian it's a horrible deal almost double what I'd expect to pay.  But I don't know what pricing is like over there.  If it were $130cdn it's not a bad deal for what your getting.  Just may not be adequate at all for your needs.

I didn't think it was that good a deal. I've found an old pc in the house capable of running lotro so that suits me. I'm certainly going to spend money just to play afew games unless it's a really good deal. Unfortuantely those seem hard to come by and ebay is just a nightmare to process.
