You probably noticed that houses roofs on the screenshots sometimes look too perfect. It creates a certain effect of washing, which disrupts the playing atmosphere. We decided to eliminate this defect. Please rate the quality of new materials and example of their use.

Hello!
While the majority of our team is busy in preparing and testing the next build, we would like to share another small but important detail.
We have added inverse kinematics to the characters. Now the character's legs will track the height difference and take it into incorporate to the animations. Now we are working on setting up and improving this system so that the characters are going to look more realistic.

Today we will tell you a terrible but true story about the development of the game. As you know, this process is always accompanied by a lot of bugs. Where do they come from? They are sent by the Evil AI, using its minions for this. The fight against the consequences of these attacks takes a lot of time, but our employees knowingly wear black belts according to the bug fix.

What happens when bugs are in the game? Let's go through the tragic pages of our history together...

We will start with the Sniper. What could be simpler than a jump? But our character himself (yes, of course) decided that it's just boring to jump, so he started showing off his skills in stretching. Fortunately, we quickly managed to convince him that it was dangerous.

But the Sniper did not stop there! Evil minions whispered to him that it's much more fun not just to roll but to ignore the physics. After that, we seriously think about sending him to the gymnastics competitions. But, it will not free him from his work in our game.

Of course, the most terrible page of our history is an ant monster. It all happened because of the bug of retargeted animation from the Sniper to the Marauder. It would seem that both are humanoids, but the interference of the Evil AI has distorted everything. It say that the animator was the first who saw it so far, still paints his hair in purple!

Game designers have created a list of skills, which you will see below. To avoid creating artificial boundaries for you, we are specifically not going to concretize those skills.

1. AOE effect which buffs allies and simultaneously debuffs enemies.
2. Impact on the game environment, through which the player can create dangerous zone for the enemy, forcing opponents to make difficult decisions in combat.
3. Ability through which you can interact with the corpses of enemies, and gain benefit for your character.

We have not forgotten about the opportunity to heal your team, but we have taken a small interest of the community in this ability. Therefore, it will be combined with the attack ability. In this case, the attack is going to be used with a projectile (grenade, bottle, sphere).

1. Work on improving the game was a success. The new game mechanics will be further developed and on the following tests we will start working on fine tuning.
2. The balance of the characters turned out to be close to the ideal, which will certainly become an excellent foundation for the further development of combat modes.
3. We have taken into account your opinions on the filling of the fighting arena and will work on its improvement.
4. Work on optimization and network code will continue. We have already achieved significant success, and you will be able to check it very soon.

Hello everyone!
While our team is preparing new client for the next testing, I would like to talk about new game mode that will be available in the nearest alpha test.

The game mode is called "Arena". The rules are extremely simple. Your characters will be transferred to the special arena for gladiatorial fights. The battle will be in the format 3 vs 3, with the victory counted ONLY after the COMPLETE destruction of the enemy team.



I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the time of the battle is limited. If you do not have enough time, the system will activate an additional timer, but all players will be visible on the map.If this time is not enough, then the match will continue with the debuff "Damage", which permanently damages all living characters. Will you say that it is impossible to survive with this option? Anything can happen, so we foresaw a draw option, when after the second extra time, at least one player remains in the opposing team.

During the alpha testing team members will be selected randomly, but later we will be able to add feature of creating your own team.

Even now character has a very expressive appearance. We are confident that we will soon be able to show you the final version and you'll definitely love it.


By the way! The weapon for the Druid has already passed the concept stage, and you can admire its deadly beauty.



Yes it is a staff, but a very versatile staff. In addition to direct attacks, it can generate a clot of spores that heal your allies or inflict damage to your opponents. There are other ways to use the staff, but we will talk about them later.
It is already clear that the Druid turns out to be an extremely dangerous and popular character. We are 100% sure that after the "field tests" many players will choose Druid as their main character.

In this diary we would like to talk about the ultimate abilities. Hearing the word "ultimate" you could already guess, that this is something extremely dangerous and lethal. But before we talk about specific abilities of the characters, we would love to discuss general principles of the accumulation and use of energy for these abilities.


1. Ultimate consists of two parts. First one is a visual indicator of points needed to accumulate for the first, second or third charge. Charges themselves are displayed in a form of yellow bars around the indicator. Once you get at least one charge, you can immediately activate your ultimate skill. But keep in mind, that each charge gives the ultimate an additional effect and scaling.


2. If your character is killed, you lose all the points, but keep the acquired charges. All charges can be lost only if you use the ultimate. Notice, that if you used an ultimate with 1 or 2 charges, the accumulation points will also be lost.


3. Each character has a unique ultimate skill and an individual way of accumulation ultimate points. That said, the number of points gained heavily depends on what you do with a certain hero.

We continue to talk about our work. This diary is dedicated to our Angel of Death - Reaper. And like every decent Angel of Death, he must have wings and a portal into Purgatory. Let's take a look at the secret Reaper's base and see how they prepare for the upcoming battles!

As you can see, guys are trying hard, practicing standard movements and experimenting with the environment. They perfectly understand that every extra second, spent on opening portal or summoning wings can be costly.

Of course, they do not limit themselves to only on laboratory site. On the following frames, we see how Reaper is trying on different wings. Yes, not all models fit perfectly, but don't worry, the rescue team does not sleep.
