This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

-- Spectrum Games releases special version of the Slasher Flick rulebook.

Spectrum Games is pleased to announce the release of the PDF version of Slasher Flick: The Director's Cut, a deluxe version of the original rulebook. It's loaded with new material and improved features, including:

·   170 pages of psycho killer goodness
·   Full color interior pages
·   Full-sized 8.5" by 11" book (as opposed to the digest-sized original).
·   All-new cover
·   Never-before-seen material designed to improve the game and make it more user-friendly.
·   Material culled from the various supplements, including 100 character templates, additional special rules for characters, group archetypes and much more.
·   Three "quick flicks" that allow you to get a game up and running in no time.
·   A spine-tingling 23-page introductory adventure called, "The Vault".

According to Spectrum president Cynthia Celeste Miller, "I wanted to create the ultimate rulebook for Slasher Flick. When I first designed the game, I had no idea it was going to take off so well. As such, I went with a very small, compact book in case it didn't do so well. But it DID do well, so I felt it was time to release a more elaborate rulebook that incorporated the best material from the supplements and added some new material as well. The result is the Director's Cut."

Slasher Flick: the Director's Cut is available as a PDF product. The hard copy version will be released later in the month.
