This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Hi guys. I'm Maelish with Find Gamers, the player-finder website.

I wanted to let everyone that we've released a new web tool that DM's & GM's might find particularly useful. It's a generator called NPC Backgrounds with Feeling.

Not everyone is comfortable creating NPC backgrounds off the top of their head. It can be a pain in the keister, am I right? It's especially true if you are not used to being at the head of your group's table.  Some of us do a great job at making NPCs.  But it's not something that everyone is good at doing.

This generator is intended to be an aid.  It can give you a great start in fleshing out real characters who feel more like living, breathing members of your game world. And hopefully make them seem like separate individual in the process.
