Title: MasterBook Reprint and MasterDeck Downloads Available
Post by: brettmb on January 03, 2011, 03:31:32 PM
Revisit MasterBook, the universal game system that can be adapted to everything from science fiction to high fantasy, from pulp adventure to dark horror. Requiring only two 10-sided dice, MasterBook produces variable results to determine the outcome of both combat and social interaction, with a value scale that quantifies weights, distances, and times for these outcomes.

Originally published by West End Games, MasterBook is now part of the Precis Intermedia family of game products. Precis Intermedia's Classic Reprint incorporates a few changes, but maintains the same content and appearance of the original book -- plus a remastered version of the critically-acclaimed MasterDeck cards are included with download for added drama and excitement. MasterDeck is also available separately for those with the original MasterBook or Shatterzone games and lacking the cards. Printed versions of both are in the works and should be available shortly. Look for other MasterBook titles to be available in the near future, including the MasterBook Companion and Bloodshadows Fantasy Noir GameWorld.

Incorporating one of the first e-publishing RPG companies, Precis Intermedia is known for its diverse line-up of clear and concise games. Precis Intermedia's current game lines include the ENnie Award-winning Ancient Odysseys for fantasy gaming; ENnie Award-nominated Two-Fisted Tales for thrilling pulp action; Brutes, New World Disorder, Warcosm, and A Fistfull of Miniatures for miniatures gaming; HardNova 2, Coyote Trail, EarthAD 2, Mean Streets, and Ghostories for low-cost, ready-to-play entertainment; Active Exploits Diceless for universal diceless roleplaying with that familiar 'dice' feel; Story Engine for scene and adjective-based, collaborative roleplaying; and more.
