This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

[Kickstarter] Carolina Game Tables Ends Sept. 10th!

Hi there! This is Jodi Black of Pinnacle Entertainment Group, although I'm posting for a personal project: Carolina Game Tables.

Game Table Kickstarter Funded and a Staff Pick!
News from Pinnacle Entertainment Group
Released August 12, 2015 (updated with new pricing on upper levels)

Conover, NC—Most fans of board games, tabletop roleplaying games, war/miniature games, and jigsaw puzzles clear off their dining room or kitchen table to enjoy the hobby. Carolina Game Tables offers a dining room table with a removable top and inset play area—and they were funded in under five hours on Kickstarter and designated a Kickstarter Staff Pick. Tables are reported to ship in December, making this the best Christmas present for gamers this year.

Kickstarter Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1830353071/carolina-game-tables

The Game Table reward is only $1,599 for a 4 by 6 foot table indistinguishable in style from a classic dining room table. When the sturdy table top is removed, however, it’s Game Time! The recessed 32 by 50 inch play area is carpeted in burgundy cloth and is 3 inches deep. Most games fit inside with the table top on.

Other rewards are for a dining room set of six matching chairs and a table ($2, 799) and an ultimate game setup adding six side tables—which convert to extra bench seating—for $3,499. For those looking for low-end funding, a $25 level for a set of six leather coasters is popular and eligible for digital stretch goal rewards. The next stretch goal unlocks “Dinner and Dice, a Gaming Cookbook,” with recipes and anecdotes from game industry veterans.

From the Kickstarter page:

For tabletop roleplaying Game Masters and war/miniature gamers...imagine the looks of wonder when you uncover tonight's dungeon!

For board game players...imagine pausing your epic European game to eat a nice dinner! You can even leave last week's unfinished game in the play area and play a party game on the table top!

For jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts...how many times have you rolled up your 1000+ piece puzzle only to unroll it and find the pieces undone? Or can't clear off a space big enough to play? With the Carolina Game Table your puzzle is always available!

“Many roleplaying gamers recognize us for our work with Savage Worlds and Pinnacle Entertainment Group, but they may not know my family’s made furniture for three generations. Our company, Carolina Game Tables, is perfectly suited to deliver a beautiful, affordable, game table,” said Clint Black, Savage Worlds Brand Manager and co-owner of Carolina Game Tables with his wife Jodi Black.
