Pictured here is Sean "Shade" Marlette. He is a former professional gambler and street criminal turned high-class assassin. Most of his current work is performed for the O'Malley Crime Family on Chance (Cascadia 0405).

Marlette is a determined adversary and has a reputation for always eliminating his target. If your characters have run afoul of his employers, then you can rest assured that they are in grave danger.

Marlette is one of 21 antagonists presented in 21 Villains, our newest product, which will be available on February 13.

And here we have The Sisters of Mercy.  Ellatraci and Eratina Milcragh are identical twins from Minerva (Franklin 0401).

Local system navies and merchants have come to call them the 'Sisters of Mercy' after one particular incident in which they dressed as nuns from Franklin and stole an Atlas-class freighter. In that incident, all the crew and passengers were released unharmed with blessings from the twins on behalf of the (Reformed) Catholic Church of Franklin, and told to donate half of their remaining money to the orphanages or face the wrath of the Sisters of Mercy.

The Sisters are among the 21 antagonists presented in our newest product, 21 Villains.  21 Villains will be available tomorrow (Feb 13).

Much as we did previously with Subsector Sourcebook 1: Cascadia, we have revisited Subsector Sourcebook 2: Franklin.  Inside, we have corrected several mistakes, updated some of the artwork (particularly the world maps) and cleaned up some of the formatting issues.

If you have already purchased SS2: Franklin as a PDF, you should be able to get the newest version as a free download from your update page.

If you haven't purchased this book yet, now is the ideal time! Not only is the updated version now available but it is also going to be part of the GMs Day Sale (30% off!) which is scheduled to begin on March 3.

A print version of this update should be available shortly.

You can visit Drive-Thru RPG at this link to pick up your copy. (http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/99093/Subsector-Sourcebook-2-Franklin)

Much to the chagrin of her uplifted simian friend, Melissa zips away from the parked starship on her RetroWheels grav cycle. Designed and sold by the Cascadian based American Dreams Gravcycle Company, the RetroWheels wraps mid-twentieth century styling over an efficient modern grav cycle.

Available in a variety of period two tone pastel color styling choices, the RetroWheels has found a market throughout Clement Sector, but is far more popular with younger grav cycle users on Cascadia (Cascadia 0705) and Boone (Sequoyah 0305).

The RetroWheels is one of the vehicles featured in Gypsy Knights Games' upcoming 21 Vehicles which will be available on March 13!

And here we have the AMV/G Combat Car.  An older infantry fighting vehicle still being produced by several companies on Cascadia (Cascadia 0705) and sold throughout Clement Sector, the Combat Car can lay down heavy fire in both a defensive and offensive role. Long superseded by more modern designs, it is still a very capable vehicle well suited for many planetary defense forces unable to afford newer designs.

The Combat Car can carry eight fully equipped Troops that deploy from a rear opening hatch. Once any troops have disembarked, the combat car is free to freely engage enemy forces or provide covering fire.

The AMV/G Combat Car is just one of the featured vehicles in Gypsy Knights Games' 21 Vehicles.  21 Vehicles will be available in PDF form on March 13.

And here we have the ubiquitous utility van.  An everyday workhorse found almost everywhere within the settled worlds of Clement Sector, the utility van is a basic and reliable vehicle used for a multitude of tasks from delivering mail packages to grocery transport.  Rear opening doors and sliding doors on each side provide for easy access to the rear cargo area of the van.

The utility van is just one of the vehicles detailed in 21 Vehicles, our newest product, which will be available as a PDF on March 13.

And here we have the AufzugPanzer Selbstfahrlafette APz.Sfl.VI Ausf C Langen Arm self-propelled rail gun.

The APz.Sfl.VI Ausf C Langen Arm (Long Arm) is the primary self-propelled artillery used by the ground forces of the Hub Federation.

The Langen Arm mounts a massive fully stabilized 180mm mass driver within a large turret allowing full three hundred and sixty degree movement. The advanced fire control system allows rapid firing of five rounds at differing elevations starting at high elevations then reaching a lower elevation. This ensures that the five rounds, traveling at differing trajectories, arrive on target simultaneously up to eighty kilometers away. By the time the launched rounds arrive on target, the Langen Arm can already be on the move to a new firing position.

The Langen Arm is just one of the vehicles featured in Gypsy Knights Games' newest product 21 Vehicles.  21 Vehicles will be available tomorrow (March 13)  in PDF!

"Mr. Harmer, light up the drive. It's time to ride fire!" Captain Jacinda Loughton, USS Caliban

Here we see the USS Caliban operating under thrust.  USS Caliban was the second Trent-class destroyer and was commissioned in 2187.  It served in Earth Sector for many years. After The Conduit was opened, USS Caliban served as the flagship for the fleet of smaller exploration vessels tasked by the United States Space Navy to explore Clement Sector.

Here we have a picture of USS Leary firing her portside weapons. USS Leary was the sixth Trent-class destroyer commissioned by the United States Space Navy in 2190. The vessel served in Earth Sector for several years before being brought over to Clement Sector as part of the 6th Space Fleet operating from Sophronius (Hub 0408).

In 2250, the vessel was sold to the independent colony of Franklin (Franklin 0506) where it served as part of the Franklin Space Defense Navy. It remains in the Franklin system as part of the Adams-Roberts Museum of Space Travel.

Historical Ships of Clement Sector 1: Trent-class Destroyer will be available in PDF from Gypsy Knights Games on June 12.

In this picture from 2330, we see USS Shannon approaching Sophronius (Hub 0405).  The picture also shows the orbital city of Griffith which was destroyed by the terrorist group Sic Semper Tyrannis in 2332.  USS Shannon is now used as a training vessel by the Boone Space Defense Force (Sequoyah 0305).

The story of USS Shannon is included along with full deckplans, a detailed description of the Trent-class destroyers and their history and more beautiful art provided by Bradley Warnes and Ian Stead.  And, to top it off, writer Michael Johnson also provides an appendix detailing reaction drive missiles to be used in conjunction with The Anderson and Felix Guide to Naval Architecture.

Here we have a Hub Federation Berlin-class colonial destroyer approaching a Moltke-class cruiser near one of the moons of the gas giant Zielicke in the Hub system (Hub 0405).

The Berlin-class is a 1200dT standard short hulled starship design. Designed primarily to provide colonial protection and security, the destroyer has crystaliron hull armor and an internal reinforced structure.

As originally designed, the Berlin-class colonial destroyer's primary task was to provide defense and security for German colonies including rapid deployment of a company of troops with supporting vehicles directly to a trouble spot.

Because the vessel is so easily recognized from this role, it has opened the Berlin-class up to parody from certain circles. One popular example is the "FGS Teutonisch" used by the cartoonish Kapitän Otto Von Spanke, one of the more popular adversaries facing the hero of Harbringer Productions' Superpirate! holovid series. That vessel is shown here.

Meet Lt. Commander Twyla Fay Fuller of the Harrison Customs Service (Sequoyah 0805).

Shown here with several members of her crew, Twyla can best be described as a pocket dynamo. Only just over 1.5m tall she compensates her short stature with a quick wit and a forward personality. Part of her persona is to ensure her southern drawl is noticeable and pronounced, even more than Harrison's native population. She is adored by her crew and respected for her professional skills by her peers. Being able to outdrink many of them with her favorite drink, New Tennessee Old Sour Mash, factors in that as well.

Lt. Commander Fuller is featured in Gypsy Knights Games' upcoming supplement, Ships of Clement Sector 9: System Defense Boats which will be available on August 21.

Here we see one of the Monroe Space Defense Force's Rattlesnake-class attack craft.  The Rattlesnake is a smaller and faster addition to the Monroe fleet which is known for massive monitors.

Until recently not much was known about the attack craft deployed by the Monroe Defense Force. For several years all the information provided to Hub Federation Naval Intelligence, Cascadian Colonization Authority and the intelligence branch of the Cascadian System Defense Forces were sensor logs and reports about fast "hammerhead" shaped defense boats from Merchant crews trading in and out of the Monroe system.
In its annual review of 2338, the pre-eminent defense journal Wendy's featured a full article about the secretive Monroe Defense Force including the Rattlesnake- class attack craft. When both the Cascadian Defense force and the Hub Federation Navy were contacted for comment by local news media about the accuracy of the article, they refused to comment, both stating that Wendy's was free to publish what information it wanted to and its readers could decide how accurate that information actually was for themselves.

This issue bubbled on and off for several months until a Cascadian senate committee ordered the Cascadian Defense Force to release what information it had regarding the disposition of the Monroe military. This was to ensure Cascadian merchant shipping was fully informed regarding what was within the Monroe system.

It turned out that Wendy's was right.

The Rattlesnake-class is featured in Gypsy Knights Games' upcoming supplement, Ships of Clement Sector 9: System Defense Boats which will be available on August 21.

And here we have the customs and excise cutter.  A standardized design produced by Anderson and Felix, Cascadia Orbital and a number of other shipyards, the customs and excise cutter can be seen and interacted with in almost every colonized system throughout Clement Sector.

The cutter is operated by a small crew and uses a fast launch for boarding and inspection duties. On-board facilities include a one bed medical bay and a two cell brig. The customs and excise cutter is armed with a triple beam laser turret and is capable of a thrust of 6G.

The customs and excise cutter is featured in Gypsy Knights Games' upcoming supplement, Ships of Clement Sector 9: System Defense Boats which will be available on August 21.

Here we see the Hub Federation Antelope-class SDB HFS Sable encountering a damaged Atlas-class freighter within Hollifield's Belt in the Donar system (Hub 0404).

Part of the design and procurement program as outlined in the Hub Federation Defence Forces second white paper in 2338, the Antelope-class was designed to replace the aging ex German Navy Type S system defense boats. As the new and bigger Antelope-class boats commissioned, the Type S boats were placed into naval reserve squadrons.

With powerful armament, excellent protection and stealth capability, the Antelope-class is a powerful addition to the security and defense of the Hub Federation's member worlds.

The Antelope-class System Defence Boat is featured in Gypsy Knights Games' upcoming supplement, Ships of Clement Sector 9: System Defense Boats which will be available on August 21.

And here we have the MV Rebecca Bryan, a Lee-class merchant vessel, moving past the gas giant Cumberland in the Boone system (Sequoyah 0305).

In 2336, the small Boone based company Boone Starship Industries embarked on a program to modify the Rucker-class merchant vessel in order to improve cargo handling capability and to bring down monthly costs for operators.  After a year of successive failures to bring this vision to reality, the design director took a proposal to the company board that a new design was what was needed instead of attempting to modify an already successful existing design.  The Lee-class is that design.

And here we have the Fedpost Mail Courier.

In 2334, Anderson and Felix were contracted by the newly formed Hub Federation Postal Service (Fedpost) to design and construct a fast mail courier with extended fuel capacity and as small a crew requirement as possible in order to deliver both electronic and physical mail.

Several design options were presented for consideration over the following twelve months until the managing board of Fedpost approved a small one hundred displacement tonne courier with enough internal fuel for two Zimm transits of two parsecs and multiple in-system skip-transits. The mail courier design included a maneuver drive capable of a thrust of two gravities.

The ship is the focus of Gypsy Knights Games' upcoming Ships of Clement Sector 11: Fedpost Mail Courier which will be available as a PDF on December 4.

One of the joys of being in this business is getting to work with some amazingly talented folks. One of those folks, Bradley Warnes, just submitted this picture to me for an upcoming Gypsy Knights Games project and I thought I would share it with you.

Great stuff. Thanks Brad.

I will be running three Clement Sector games using the Mongoose 1e rules at ConNooga this weekend.  For those interested in ConNooga, follow this link: http://www.connooga.com/

The games are:

8pm Friday- Redemption in the Making - The crew of the MV Tiamat, well-known as "problem solvers", have been approached by a woman who wishes to clear her husband's name.  It would seem that her husband had been a pirate for a short time and stole a large sum of money.  She wants the characters to help her locate the money, return it to the owners and clear her husband's name.

Can the characters help her?

1pm Saturday- Futility and Hubris - the crew of the MV Tiamat, well-known as "problem solvers", have been hired by a small company to hunt down a man who has stolen some valuable property.  This thief has boarded a cruise ship heading out of the system.  The company wants to put the characters on board the cruise ship to monitor and then capture this thief and recover the stolen property.  Other than that, it should be a peaceful cruise.

Are the characters up for it?

8pm Saturday- On the Master's Trail - The characters have been approached by a man named Andrew Maitland. Maitland will explain that they are members of a new religion, the Obedient, who show their devotion to the Great Master by enduring not only enforced hardship but also by remaining solitary. These seven men, along with five others and members of their family, have an unarmed Atlas-class freighter named The Master's Trail which they are using as a colony vessel.

The Obedient have chosen an uninhabited world in the CXD-305 system for their new home.  However, the route is filled with all manner of dangers.  Can the characters protect the colonists?

And, for those interested in making a purchase, I will also have hard copies of our titles with me as well.

Hope to see you there!

A quick look at the Mining Research Vessel Paddy Hannan, a Broken Hill-class Prospector owned by Westralian Metals Company Pty Ltd out of New Perth (Peel 0208). The vessel is captained by Senior Ship Captain Moulina Laydai.

WMC is currently undertaking resource surveys within the system of AXO-206, which contains no habitable worlds. The systems twin super Jupiter sized gas giants (AXO-206d and AXO-206e) have close to two hundred moons, both rocky and ice, within mini-systems of their own. The system also has three asteroid belts within the inner system, between two rocky inner system worlds and the outer system dominated by the two massive gas giants.

The Broken Hill-class prospector Paddy Hannan is one of two mining and resource ships exploring new mining areas in the AXO-206 system. Both ships base out of New Perth system and the research facility on one of the moons orbiting gas giant AXO-206d.

The MRV Paddy Hannan is featured in Gypsy Knights Games' upcoming Ships of Clement Sector 12: Broken Hill-class Prospector which will be available on March 18. The book is written by Michael Johnson with two short pieces of fiction written by Bradley Warnes. The book is illustrated by Ian Stead and Bradley Warnes.

And don't forget that you can pick up Ships of Clement Sector 1-11, as well as all of our other products, as part of Drive-thru RPG's GM's Day Sale. The sale will save you 30% off all of our PDFs and will run until March 17.

April 15 is an important date in Clement Sector history.  Expect something to happen.
Title: [GK Games] News and Reviews
Post by: Independence Games on April 14, 2016, 12:08:56 PM
In the Clement Sector setting, April 15 is a big day.  In our future history, April 15, 2331 is the date of the collapse of The Conduit (the wormhole that connected Earth Sector to Clement Sector).  After that event, Clement Sector was separated from Earth and the worlds of Clement Sector were on their own.

As most of you reading this will be aware, Mongoose has created a second edition of their rules for Traveller.  Like the collapse of the Conduit, this has forced a separation for the products we created under the first edition license that we had through Mongoose.  Those products will be forced to no longer be part of the Traveller line and, on May 22, Gypsy Knights Games will remove those products from the market.

However, most of those former first edition products will be part of a new line of products that will take advantage of the fact that Mongoose's first edition is Open Game License.  Not only will most of our existing product line become OGL but we will also continue to support that line with new products.

The first product for that line will be Clement Sector 2nd Edition (OGL).  Clement Sector 2e (OGL) will be available for sale as a PDF on April 15 which is, for us, a very fitting day. A print version will follow shortly.

For those who have purchased (or were gifted) Clement Sector 1e through Drive-thru RPG, RPGNow, or any of the family of OBS websites, you should check your updates.  You should have a free copy of the Clement Sector 2nd Edition (OGL) PDF for you there.  Clement Sector 2nd Edition (OGL) will remain a free update for those who have purchased Clement Sector 1e until the product is pulled down on May 22.  Of course, if you purchase Clement Sector 1e from DTRPG, you will also get a copy of Clement Sector 2nd Edition (OGL) along with your purchase.

Clement Sector 2nd Edition is not simply a rules update.  We have added a detailed future history, a change in the rules on how the Zimm Drive works, and much more.  We have also folded our Player's Guide, Career Track 1: Medic, and Career Companion into the 2nd edition of Clement Sector.

Does this mean that we are leaving Traveller?  It does not.  We have already prepared Clement Sector 2nd Edition (MgT 2e).  Once we have permission from Mongoose to put this on the market, we will do so.  It will be followed by a line of new products which will use Mongoose's second edition rules.  Look for this to arrive quite soon.

So, as you can see, tomorrow will be a big day for Gypsy Knights Games.  Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years and we look forward to many more years of gaming with you.

This is an excerpt from Ships of Clement Sector 15: Milligan-class Hospital Ship.  Written by Wendy Watts and Michael Johnson, this excerpt describes an important organization within the Clement Sector setting.  Logo by Bradley Warnes.

The Lady of the Lamp Society

The Lady of the Lamp Society was formed in 2056 by a group of nurses from the United States and Canada after it was determined that the usual international aid organizations were incapable of handling the disasters and wars of the period on their own. These nurses banded together to provide medical assistance wherever it was needed.

In the early years of the organization, they were mainly active in the United States, The Southern Alliance, California, Canada, Mexico, and the nation of Cascadia.  As the organization grew and gained assistance from major corporations, the coverage expanded to become system-wide by the early 22nd century.

When mankind went to the stars, The Lady of the Lamp Society went along as well to provide assistance.  On many worlds in Earth Sector and later in Clement Sector, The Lady of the Lamp Society was able to save lives during times of conflict, natural and man-made disasters, and outbreaks of disease.

The Lady of the Lamp Society has offices in Hub, Franklin, Cascadia, and Sequoyah subsectors.  They have recently expanded into Peel and Dade Subsectors with the intention of having an office in every subsector colonized by humans.

The Lady of The Lamp Society is the only civilian medical organization that operates a fleet of hospital ships and fast response medical ships. Crews for these ships are drawn from highly trained ex merchant and navy spacers. For medical staff, the Society draws on its own nursing personnel, staff and contracted doctors and co-opted staff from Doctors across the Stars. The Society often works with Doctors across the Stars, which provides for much greater resources to draw on when needed.

The lamp is emblazoned on the side of all hospital ships.  It has become a symbol of expert care in tough situations and a sign that the angels of mercy have arrived to save the sick, injured, and endangered.

Being only armed with sandcaster turrets and a point defense node array the Milligan-class relies on her ship’s identification beacon to announce her non-combatant, humanitarian role within naval service. Society owned hospital ships use the same beacon identification protocol that the military use with appropriate differences to broadcast operator status. There has not been a recorded attack on any hospital ship in human occupied space since the Sino-Indian conflict of the late 22nd Century.

Our friends at The Rocky Mountain Navy have combined Gypsy Knights Games' Clement Sector setting with Zozer's Star Trader to create an interesting solo Clement Sector game.  You can read more about it at the link.

I thought it was really cool.

Here we see the Jericho, a Milligan-class hospital ship owned by The Lady of the Lamp Society, moving through space.  The Jericho was one of two hospital ships which aided the government of Avicenna (Franklin 0704) after a strong hurricane struck the city of Alexis.  The ship arrived in support of Doctors Across The Stars and by permission of the Avicennan government.

This is just one of many Milligan-class hospital ships in Clement Sector.  The class of ships will be detailed in the upcoming Ships of Clement Sector 15: Milligan-class Hospital Ship which will be available in PDF on August 26.

Greetings!

A few items of note on a Saturday evening.

1> "Clement Sector: The Rules" is in final playtesting.  We're running through a number of things and then it will be off to editing.  We have Bradley Warnes working on cover art for the book.  Thanks to Michael Johnson for his diligent work on the space combat rules.

2> "Ships of Clement Sector 13-15" has been sent to the printer for approval.  This is the second step toward putting this into print.  The first step, making a cover, has been completed.  Thanks to Ian Stead for the cover art and to Stephanie McAlea for her cover layout.  The front cover is attached to this post.

3> "21 Plots Go Forth" has also been sent to the printer for approval.  It will hopefully be joining the other "general" 21 Plots book in print soon.

4> "Wendy's Guide to the Fleets of Hub Subsector" is in production.

5> I am currently in the midst of working on two adventures which will hopefully be posted for sale early next year.

So that's where we are on the 10th of September.  Hope you're having a good day!

A bit of an update on the print versions of Ships of Clement Sector 13-15 and 21 Plots Go Forth. The printers have approved the books and the print proof is forthcoming. Usually it takes about a week to get a proof from the printer to GKG HQ.

In addition, the print versions of Ships of Clement Sector 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12 have been submitted to the printers. The approval process usually takes a week or so.

Assuming the proofs meet my approval and everything goes smoothly, these books should be available in print soon!

21 Plots Go Forth has returned to print!

Coming up with a new adventure can be a challenging process and sometimes a Referee needs a helping hand.  Perhaps your campaign isn't quite ready.  Maybe the last campaign finished a session or two early.  Maybe your players have strayed from the expected path.

We're here to help you!

21 Plots Go Forth is the fourth in our highly successful Plots series.  The book presents 21 situations, each with 6 possible outcomes,  for science fiction gaming groups equipped with a starship and ready to travel.  The book , while geared specifically at our Clement Sector setting, can be used with most science fiction settings.

21 Plots Go Forth also contains an index that can point you to the right adventure for your players not only within this volume but also for our entire line of 21 Plots products.

Like all our products, the main intention of this book is to provide an extra spark to the Referee's imagination.

Clement Sector: The Rules will be coming along soon. Clement Sector: The Rules will provide GKG's own unique spin on The Cepheus Engine and the 2d6 OGL rules (the rules formerly known as Mongoose Traveller 1e). The book is currently in the final stages of production.

We always like to share some of the art from the book ahead of the release. Here's an excellent piece by Bradley Warnes.

A few bits of news from Gypsy Knights Games Headquarters:

1> Spent the weekend in Lancaster, PA at TravellerCon. Had a fantastic time. Got to meet some new folks, say hello to old friends, see some folks from online in person for the first time, playtest an upcoming adventure, and sell some books. Great weekend. If you have the chance, you should attend this next year.

2> Everything is on track to release Clement Sector: The Rules on PDF on Friday (October 14). In fact, I printed the final PDF for myself and was showing it about to folks at TravellerCon. Really looking forward to showing this to everyone.

3> I heard from the printers that the print proofs of Clement Sector: The Rules (both softcover and hardcover) are now en route to GKG HQ. Assuming all is well with the proofs, they may be available as early as Friday when the PDF hits. If not, they will be available quite soon.

4> Michael Johnson has turned in the draft for Wendy's Guide to the Fleets of Hub Subsector. Bradley Warnes and Ian Stead are working on the art for it. This should be ready for release in November. I'm not sure of an exact date at this point.

5> Michael Johnson is also hard at work on Ships of Clement Sector 16: Rucker-class merchant. This will be an in-depth look at one of the most popular and commonly encountered vessels in our setting.

Hope everyone is having a great October so far!

Here we see members of the Totaro Space Defense Force on the surface of Totaro near the Takuma mountain range. When the Collapse occurred in 2331, the commander of the Japanese fleet recalled all navy assets to the Totaro system with all but a small Hotei based destroyer squadron complying with that order.

The Japanese Space Navy fleet (now renamed the Totaro Space Defense Force) as deployed to Clement Sector lacks the carriers long used by the navy as the primary means of force projection but is still a considerable force quite able to protect the Totaro system from any threat.

Here you see demonstrated the TSDF's uniforms and combat suits.  You can find out more information on the Totaro Space Defense Force and other navies within the Hub Subsector in Gypsy Knights Games' upcoming book Wendy's Guide to the Fleets of Hub Subsector.  The first of five books on the fleets of Clement Sector, the Wendy's Guide to the Fleets of Hub Subsector will be available in PDF on October 28.

More information on the Kingston Navy of the Faithful, the Sword of God-class light destroyer, and all of the other navies in Hub Subsector will appear in Gypsy Knights Games' newest book.  That book, Wendy's Guide to the Fleets of Hub Subsector, will be available in PDF on October 28.

The Rucker-class is a versatile ship.  Over the years, there have been many variants to the design.  Here we see the "missile ship" variant.  Seen here launching her missiles is the ESS Erdenet which is a converted Rucker serving with the Erlik Self Defense Force.

The "missile ship" is one of five variants which author Michael Johnson presents in Gypsy Knights Games' Ships of Clement Sector 16: Rucker-class Merchant which will be available as a PDF on December 9.

“We’ve been in orbit around CXG-408c for several hours.  Got a lot of people who want to make the trip down to the planet.  All of the scans we’ve made and tests we’ve performed say that planet is safe.  I’ve put the crew and colonists under orders not to go opening their helmets until we get a team of Apes down there.  If the Apes can handle it, then I will consider putting actual people at risk.” – James O’Connell, colonization specialist’s log, United States Sophronius Colonization Team, January 18, 2210.

Hi everyone!  Just wanted to drop in a few items of news from Gypsy Knights Games.

1> If you haven't gotten your copy of Wendy's Guide to the Fleets of Franklin Subsector, it is out there now in PDF form.  Print version should be coming shortly.  This is the third of a five book series detailing the naval assets of each of the systems in Clement Sector.    You can pick up a copy here at this link:  http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/218038/Wendys-Guide-to-the-Fleets-of-Franklin-Subsector

2> Tree of Life: Altrants in Clement Sector is currently in the final stages of production.  Writing and editing are finished and the art is coming in from Bradley Warnes, Jennifer Leonard, and Stephanie McAlea.  We're not 100% sure of the release date but it will be quite soon.

3> There's been a bit of a setback concerning "A Poor Chisel", the campaign book I've been writing.  In short, I just didn't like how it was going.  So we've backed up a bit on that and I intend to rework it a bit.  It will still be coming but it seems that it will be much later than I originally intended.

4> Currently in the works is "21 Pirate Groups" which is currently slated for October and "Wendy's Guide to the Fleets of Sequoyah Subsector which you will likely see in November.

5> If you haven't seen this yet, Steve Attwood over at Alegis Downport has written an excellent review of "A Fifth of 21 Plots".  You can check out Steve's review here:  https://alegisdownport.wordpress.com/2017/08/19/a-fifth-of-21-plots-review-and-loren-wiseman-kickstarter/

6> For those of you who have been wondering if we're going to be at TravellerCon as we usually do, I'm sorry to say that it is currently still up in the air.  At present, it appears doubtful but we're still trying to work it out so that we can be there.

7> I can announce that we will be at Post-Apocalyption in Cleveland, Tennessee on November 11.  We will be running games there and will have plenty of print books to sell.  http://www.postapocalypticon.com/

We should have more announcements soon concerning upcoming products and conventions which we will be attending.  Stay tuned!

Have a great weekend!

few items of news from Gypsy Knights Games on this Sunday morning.

1> Our "Talk Like A Pirate Day" sale is running strong on Drive-thru RPG and will continue until 10am Eastern on September 20.  The sale allows you to save 30% on all of our pirate and starship related PDFs such as Skull and Crossbones: Piracy in Clement Sector, the Ships of Clement Sector series, the Wendy's Guides, and The Anderson and Felix ship building rules.

2> Drive-thru RPG is also running their "September Settings Sale" and this will continue until September 30.  This sale allows you to save 33% on the Clement Sector Core Setting Book (as well as four of the five subsector books, 21 Starport Places, and 21 Villains due to an error).

You can all of our products at DTRPG at this link: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/3565/Gypsy-Knights-Games

3> The print version of Wendy's Guide to the Fleets of Franklin Subsector has been submitted to the printers as of today.  Hopefully, that means we'll have this book available in print sometime over the next couple of weeks.

4> After some months of uncertainty, we can now say that we will be attending TravellerCon!  TravellerCon takes place in Lancaster, PA and will run from September 29 to October 1.  We will be there meeting and greeting, having fun, and with tons of books to sell.  If you love Traveller, this is the place for you.  This year not only will Keith and Megan be putting together a great games day but also Marc Miller, the man himself, will be in attendance.  Hopefully, we will see you there as well!  http://www.travellercon-usa.com/

5> We will also be running games and selling books at Post-Apocalypticon in Cleveland, TN!  Post-Apocalypticon takes place on November 11-12.  This is a fantastic games day put on by the fine folks at Dicehead Games and Comics. We will be there all day on the 11th and look forward to seeing you there!  http://www.postapocalypticon.com/

6> And we can now reveal that we will be returning to MystiCon in Roanoke, VA!  This is one of my favorite conventions and is always great fun!  The staff there does an outstanding job of running and assembling this convention which just gets bigger every year.  Mysticon runs from February 23-25.  http://mysticon-va.com/

Hope you have a great Sunday!
