This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

-- Spectrum Games releases budget version of Slasher Flick: the Director's Cut

Slasher Flick fans who wanted to experience the full-color Director's Cut but couldn't afford the unfortunately hefty price can now rejoice! We have turned it into a black and white book and made it available to the masses.

Slasher Flick: The Director's Cut is a deluxe version of the original rulebook. It's loaded with new material and improved features, including:

·   170 pages of psycho killer goodness
·   Full-sized 8.5" by 11" book (as opposed to the digest-sized original).
·   All-new cover
·   Never-before-seen material designed to improve the game and make it more user-friendly.
·   Material culled from the various supplements, including 100 character templates, additional special rules for characters, group archetypes and much more.
·   Three "quick flicks" that allow you to get a game up and running in no time.
·   A spine-tingling 23-page introductory adventure called, "The Vault".

According to Spectrum president Cynthia Celeste Miller, "I hated that we had to charge so much for the full-color version of the Director's Cut. However, any time you release a full-color book via print-on-demand services, you're looking at an insane production cost. In order to make any profit whatsoever, we had to set a price that I was quite uncomfortable with. Now, though, we're making the material available in black and white for a much more affordable price."
