Title: Artistes Miserables - a Kickstarter card game making fun of misery and art
Post by: Spinachcat on October 14, 2021, 02:02:48 AM
This caught my attention. It looks fun. Artistes Miserables is a card game about playing a 19th century painter desperately trying to die impoverished so their work becomes famous after their death. Of course, while you're trying to ensure your painter's total misery, the other players are trying to cheer you up and get your art sold! I like the concept of mocking the "suffering artist" concept and renaming famous art with new memes looks fun too.

I know my reply is a bit late, but your post caught my attention. This concept for a card game is seriously exciting and original! As someone who's always on the lookout for unique card games, I'm definitely eager to give "Artistes Miserables" a shot. Who would've thought turning misery into a game could be this entertaining? I'm totally loving the twist on the "suffering artist" idea.  Speaking of card games, I recently stumbled upon hearts (https://worldofcardgames.com/hearts), and let me tell you, it's been an absolute blast! It really added a fresh layer of excitement to my gaming experiences. I even got a chance to play it with some friends a few times and we had a great time!
