This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I have some minimalist tendencies. What do postcounts, join dates and titles add to the forum? Zilch, except perhaps satisfying the occasional bit of curiosity, but you could do that with the info on someone's profile, you don't need it next to every post they make.

And they subtract from the forum in that they clutter it up, like I said, at the moment unless you write a real monster post, at most half the vertical space is the actual text of the post, and the rest is the clutter.
I guess I find it useful in welcoming new users. It would seem others do as well. I wont argue it could be formatted better but I don't know that it subtracts from MY experience. I think, if you want to take a minimalist approach, there is a lot we could eliminate.

Yes, I have 800 x 600. Is that not good?

If you are running a handheld device, like an iPhone, you can switch styles from the popup menu at the bottom of the page (and switch back by clicking the "PC Mode" link).

This is not recommended for a regular desktop or notebook computer, but you can try it in a pinch.
