This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Oh man, I can't believe I'm almost 40 years old, a big Hammer films fan and this is the first time I've heard of this movie.  It's their last horror movie, so that is far from their height, but holy crap read the DVD blurb (emoticons mine):

QuoteA heretic priest (Christopher Lee :win:) plots to use a teenage nun (Nastassja Kinski in her first major film role :pundit:) in a depraved sexual pact with the forces of darkness.  But when an American occult novelist (Richard Widmark :win: :win:) uncovers the conspiracy, he must battle an international cabal of evil for the body and soul of the Devil's child-bride.  Can this black magic marriage be stopped before an innocent girl is defiled as the womb of Satan?

Just in case you weren't sure this was the best movie of all time, check this out:

QuoteTo the Devil... a Daughter is now presented completely uncut and uncensored, including restoration of the film's startling violence as well as young Natasha Kinski's controversial full-frontal nudity

I haven't seen it yet, so this could be just be the work of a brilliant but unheralded dvd company copywriter (if so, the guy deserves a pulitzer).  But holy crap I am totally psyched to watch this tonight.

It's a good thing Peter Cushing isn't in this movie or my head might have just exploded.

It was just too much goodness in a single post.  Nobody would have believed me.

"To The Devil...a Daughter" is pretty fun, but it's no Satan's Cheerleaders.
