Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Who else would you like to see join RPGsite?

Secondly, I really think that you should invite Cessna to post here, Ian.  The few times I have interacted with him he has been a really decent sort.  And as you say, being in an environment in which he doesn't have the task of moderating and just talk games might be a welcome change for him.

Here's hoping.

Cessna is indeed cool, but I fear he'd be given so much crap by people with an issue with him being a mod on rpg.net as to make it not worth his time, precisely the fear I have with Dan actually.

If we could avoid that then it would probably work.

I suspect you may be right, but I am in an optimistic mood today...I am sure that somebody will ruin my faith in the decency of my fellow humans shortly.:D

I have to mention Kaemaril for his Victorian Stargate concept alone :) I'd like  to see Britpackers like Spaulding, Pyat and Son of Kirk here, but with the exception of Spaulding, I dont recall seeing them much outside of Tangency :(

Hey, Davenport!

Good job summoning him up.  Now someone go get Wakshaani and Iron Ra, and with a quickness.

My friend recently contacted you about using some of your reviews in a newsletter for a sci-fi/gaming group and he told me you were very gracious about it.  I know that he really appreciated it!

Oh, yes, I recall that! IIRC, I told him that I'd be honored, so long as doing so didn't violate any RPGnet rules.
