This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Going back into troll mode?
If that's how you choose to see it, then you must be surrounded by trolls.

You were proudly and admittedly trolling, before we managed to have a reasonable conversation or two.

Didnt Vlad free his people from the Slavery the Ottoman Empire would have brought?  Perspective wise, he is a much bigger hero than Lincoln.  He did impale people, the reason being it was standard for the Ottoman Empire to use impaling as a means to discourage and dishearten resistance wasnt it?  He simply did unto his mortal foes as they would have gladly done to him.  I say this because we have about zero evidence at this point that there will be any statues of Lincoln or him being considered any sort of hero in 300 years.  Vlad's position as a hero is still strong, and he has been going as a hero of the past for a lot longer.

Vlad Dracula did what was necessary to save his country from becoming slaves to the Ottomans.  It might seem distasteful to the modern person, but he is the reason there is a Romania, and not just a suburb of Istanbul.
