This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

My mood for fantasy tabletop has been coming to a head recently, and coincidentally, Blind Guardian released a new album earlier this month.
I've tried to get into it, but nothing has topped 'Somewhere Far Beyond' for me. This new album isn't dreadful, but it really doesn't hit any mark that I was looking for in a new album from them.

I figure there'd be a few people here who are into Blind Guardian.

Been into Eternal Champion since their 2016 album dropped. Actually more specifically, I love The Armor of Ire, but Ravening Iron didn't do much for me. I think I struggled to get all the way through it, in fact.

Here's another classic.

I'm the other way round. I really enjoy Ravening Iron, and Worms of the Earth is possibly my favorite EC song.

A little late in response to this, but I ended up listening through Ravening Iron again for the first time since its release and I liked it a lot more this time. Kudos for bringing it up.
