Apparently H.R. Giger has passed away and nobody knew.

Alien designer HR Giger dies at 74 (from the BBC).

I loved his biomechanicical style since Alien. Sad to see another true innovator pass.

His style has influenced pretty much everything in entertainment for the last 30 or so years. I'm glad he got to be one of the few artists who achieved fame and wealth while they were still alive. RIP.
