This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Spike

It IS very long and somewhat obtuse for non-geeks.  Even knowing what I was watching it took some patience to stick out the first hour.
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.

I've already read a few local complaints about the nude Dr Manhatten, although nobody seems too concerned about the violence and sex. The movie has generated a cool conversation with a friend about how most superhero movies have lots of action, but not a lot of violence.
"Meh."

The Game Guy

I think it's weird because if I paid $10 to see a movie I wouldnt walk out (unless I went stright to the manager to demand my money back).

I have only walked out of a movie once, and that was a movie I went to with a girlfriend, but it was a $1 theater so I was only out $2 and didnt care enough to complain.

Koltar

I walked out of a showing of "ROBOTS" after seeing the Revenge of the Sith trailer first.

I tried that once (the first Star Wars prequel), and I had to throw a fit and a half to get a free voucher for whatever movie I wanted.
Running: HarnMaster, Barbaric 2E!, and EABA.

My wife and I once demanded our money back when we went to see a movie (I forget what it was) and they stuck us in this tiny little afterthought of a screening room. I'm not paying ten bucks to watch something on a screen that's only a couple of times bigger than a large TV.
You are posting in a troll thread.
