This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Looks like Bruce still knows how to blow stuff up pretty well, looks like an amusing action movie that I will enjoy for what it is.

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I\'ll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.

I liked the patented Bruce Willis Smirk at the end. Looks entertaining.
The only thing I ever believed in the Bible was John 11:35.

Pretty much, or just wait till it's out of the new release section of dvd's and rent it for cheap.

I'll see this one at the theater.  Big 'splosions look so cool.

It's bubble gum for the brain, gives it something to do but with no real value.  But at least it looks like good tasting bubble gum.
Truly Rural dot com my own little hole on the web.

Damn you JB! You precognitive bastard, you stole my idea before I posted it.

Goddamit you're not only a thief, you're a thief with precognition!

As to audiences leaving their brains at the entrance to theaters, it's a damn shame the people who make movies don't pick up a few and try using them, they might come up with a good, original mo9vie a little more often than they do now if they did.

I find myself going to fewer and fewer movies (in theaters) every year.  There are usually 1 or 2 "event" movies:  Spiderman, LOTR, a shitty Star Wars prequel(:barf:), but after that not a helluva lot that makes me want to go to the theater.  Also given that most movies are out on DVD within 6 months isn't an incentive to go to the theater.

I haven't seen anything in the theater since Batman Begins (which totally rocked) partially due to money and not having anyone to go with, and even more because if it's a good movie that I know that I'll like, that I'll be buying it on dvd in a few months.

I am so glad that it's not "Die Hard 4".  Numbering your sequels isn't a good idea, as it correlates well with sucking.

That does sort of explain the awfulness of Die Hard 2.
