While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

New Iron Maiden album. Wheee!

So what do you think?

Personally, I am more stoked about this one than the previous two. Favorites on Senjutsu include include Stratego and Hell on Earth (which is surprisingly catchy for a longer song), but perhaps most of all the Parchment, which is a bit of an enigma to me; Some of the other songs seem more general or at least reasonably decipherable, this one is both oddly specific about a Parthian parchment, the witching hour, and revenge, but I have yet to see anyone to pin it down. I also love the end of the lyrics “ Heading for afterlife, meet me there”.

I was highly impressed with the video for The Writing On The Wall. Great way to announce the new album.  I haven't really taken to the other songs as much, but I'll keep listening.

Time to pull out the Seventh Son album too. That one was awesome the whole way through.

Seventh Son was the one that "sold" me in the first place :D

Seventh Son made me want to base a D&D character on the concept. Finally managed in 5e. "He has the power to heal. He has the gift of the Second Sight....", all that stuff.
I don't remember all of the build, but "A cloak of Fear..." was the Eyebite spell. Aasimar Divine Soul Sorcerer.

I've listened to a couple tracks and so far so good. I will definitely add it to my collection.

Here's hoping they tour it. I saw them a couple years ago and they still got it. Who am I kidding, Iron Maiden will tour till they drop.

This is one of their more solid re-union releases. Really enjoying it so far. It is also definitely an album that benefits from repeat listens. The choruses and solos are very strong. I like the balance of sound across the album as well.

I also like Bruce on this one, he’s better than the previous two (if I remember correctly). The guy is a metal legend so I’ve already set the bar high (despite aging, cancer, and all that) and he pulls it off very well.
