This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Dammit, I'm tempted to find and read the original comic book.

Latest trailer.

Exciting and hilarious!

Apparently there's already some controversy brewing over the performance of Hit-Girl.  I have to admit that I was a little uncomfortable with an 11-year-old using that kind of language and portraying that level of brutality, even as I was laughing.  I think that was part of the humor, actually, but there's something kind of creepy about taking those scenes from a comic book written by an adult and having a real 11-year-old play them in real life.

!i!

[Edit:  G'ah!  This trailer is way too much like real conversations I've had with my own daughter. :o ]
[Edit deux: To be clear, our conversations have never involved firearms.]

Valkyrie

Yeah, I don't think I'll be letting my daughter watch that...at least not until she's ruled "vigilante" out as a career option.
