Do any of you follow podcasts? If so which ones and why?

I currently follow AnimalCast, which is Animal Ball's official podcast about gaming, but I'm looking to expand my repertoire, especially game related casts. But frankly I don't know where to begin.

Any suggestions?

being that a. i don't have an ipod or other mp3 player and b. have a dial up connection, i automatically ignore anything that says "download" or whatever these days.  

therefore, to me "podcast" just screams "sluggish bandwith eating audio" so i've never bothered.  is that all it is, basically an mp3 "radio" broadcast talk-show?

I've listened to almost all of them out there, including 2d6 feet, Dragon's Landing, Nuketown, etc.  I was especially irritated with the "morning zoo" aspect of Dragon's Landing (crazy noises, unnecessary singing, etc.)  At the end of the day, the only gamingcasts I listen to are the Animalcast (inevitable), Fear the Boot, and Ogrecave.

I can't really include Rotwang's on my list because there's only one episode.  While I like it, when are we getting another one, Doctor?

Non-gaming podcasts that I also listen to are the Reel Horror podcast (this is my favorite overall podcast) and Night of the Living Podcast-- both related to horror movies.

I've listened to as many different podcasts as I could find, trying out at least one episode. Now, I've paired it down to two.

Fear the Boot: My favorite. IMO of all the podcasts, these guys have really "found their voice" and are very entertaining to listen to. I think they sound the most professional of all the podcasts (professional meaning comfortable, like a radio host, and not meaning strictly serious). They have the back and forth down pretty well, without too much interrupting (a pet peeve of mine). There are a variety of player and GM types hosting and frequently come at issues from many different angles. Most of the serious topics are about running/playing games, rather than specific systems. All that plus I'm guaranteed to crack up at least once during an episode.

All Games Considered: Not quite as polished, with a little too much interruption and stepping on each others toes. On the upside, they cover a wide variety of games, and spend a decent amount of time on some not-as-popular games, and do quite a bit of reviews. This is the podcast I listen to when I want to hear about other people's games, what they are playing, and how they are doing it, to give me ideas for new games to check out, or new campaigns/settings etc.

http://allaboutminiatures.libsyn.com - a great monthy review for wargaming and some RPGs. It's a very entertaining listen, even though I couldn't care less about Napoleonics or other historical games. Sorta like Car Talk, if you've ever heard that before.
