This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I've been informed that this is some kind of British way of saying "fuck you" to the original poster. Not speaking the language myself, I'm not really sure, but just in case, don't do that again.

Then shouldn't the thread title be "RPG.NET moderators are wankers"?

If you're going to trash on RPG.NET, I'd rather it be about the fact that half the time you get a "Servers Too Busy" message when you try to visit than about "bad mod call of the day".  But that's just my personal preference.  :p
Now Prepping: One-shot adventures for Coriolis, RuneQuest (classic), Numenera, 7th Sea 2nd edition, and Adventures in Middle-Earth.

Recently Ended: Palladium Fantasy - Warlords of the Wastelands: A fantasy campaign beginning in the Baalgor Wastelands, where characters emerge from the oppressive kingdom of the giants. Read about it here.

Quite. Instead we'll have to make due with a smilie of a stereo-typical British MP's favourite hobby...playing catch of course.

This forum is for talking about RPGs? Huh? What are those?

It should be noted that, conversely, a "geezer" is not an insult in British English. Just listen to The Streets.

I'm not clear on the diff between "geezer" and "lad," though, and how that might map onto "homie" in American English.

More like

Sumtara, while some doubtlessly sympathize with your angst, posting TBP* whines in the RPG forum seems newbish, so scorn will be heaped upon you until a moderator comes along and cares enough to cleans this up, or it slips off the first page.
