This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I saw this on the dollar rack and snagged it. It was worth reading and I recommend it to anyone looking to do a decent SFRPG type scenario.

Some major violations of physics, but still a decent read. If the author got some grounding in hard science he could do some decent hard SF, he's got good style, characters and plot.

Sadly, I find that I am unable to take seriously anyone who is called 'Ty Drago'.  Even on the cheap I would probably avoid this one. Also, the reviews were pudding. Pants is acceptable, pudding is not.

On the off chance that Ty Drago is not a psuedonym nor any other form of self selected name, I will do the author a favor and punch the relative of his choice in the face on his behalf. Free.

Also: the various reviews do not particularly make me want to buy it. The sole exception was the critical comment about the bad guy uttering the line to the hero 'Why won't you die!?'. As I feel this is a true classic of a line, and one that is not nearly uttered enough in fiction or real life, it almost makes me want to read it just to put it fully in context.

And to do my part to make the intertubes a better place:

Cylonphile, why won't you die?!

See? This thread is now twice as cool. Spike CAN multiply by zero.
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.
