This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: shewolfGonna defend the guy a bit here. Some major (not TMZ) site mentioned David has Fragile X. There's a good chance Benoit fought with Woman about the kid, and killed her, then did the same for him as a "mercy".

odd thing to be "defending"

I, personally, am not going to "defend" Benoit.  What he did was indefensible.

But, you can understand - if there were mental/emotional illness/distress, that the man may not have been in his "right mind".  I'd say its highly likely.  Combine seroids, prescription painkiller addiction, distress over sons condition, many mANY headshots over the course of his career - thats a recipe for bad shit to happen, someday.

I don't think he was a bad person - he was just fucked up in the extreme, like most wrestlers.
