This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

If you're sitting on the fence about seeing this movie, go see it.

I won't spoil it, but it's worth seeing and has a few small flaws you can overlook. (The only one I'll spoil is how all the humans speak english, which is a universal movie flaw, it seems.)

If you were going to avoid it because the AVP movies, especially the second, pushed you away, come on back, the water's fine again.
Go an\' tell me I\'m ignored.
Kick my sad ass off the board,
I don\'t care, I\'m still free.

I thought you had flamed out and sworn never to return so long as Koltar breathed. Well, I guess that lasted all of 3 minutes. Colour me disappointed.

No, dickhead, I said I'll probably get banned because I hate that motherfucker too much to stop attacking him.

Please. You laid down a "him or me" ultimatum to the board. I guess you expected people to line up in support of you, rather than the resounding "get lost" you actually received. Now you backpedal. Not that I mind so much. Watching your spaztastic feud against Koltar has a certain amusement value.

Anyway, I've that Predators isn't complete dreck. It might be worth a see.

I know saying "it's better than AVP" is faint praise, but I liked it. I'm not saying it's 11 out of 10 or anything, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd say maybe a 7 out of 10. Put it this way, it was worth the $5.50 matinee price I paid. Yes it has a few flaws, but I don't think anything really damning (I'm fighting really hard not to spoil anything here). Certainly better than much of this summer's fair. I'm sure many will disagree however. Such is the intarwebz.

I'm almost sorry that michael jackson died a year before this movie came out, it would have been hilarious to do a bit on it called "Predators" Starring ,Michael jackson. Directed by Roman Polanski.
