This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

That argument belongs in the same category as Polar Bear Repellant.  You're not doing much to counter the accusation of absurdity.

Having nothing (immediately apparent) to do with air safety and someone with a prominent identity carrying an even more prominent award aboard a plane.  Stay on target, Gold Leader...stay on target!

Wait, so what you're saying is that if somebody says "a is worse than b" and I ask for examples, that's not topical?

Nobody mentioned a thing about celebrity problems on planes. The exact statement was:

Literal and unimaginative interpretation of the rules causes far more problems than celebrity does.

I'm asking how it is that people not being allowed to bring weaponlike objects on planes causes more problems then celebrities do. It seems to me to be a direct response to the statement made. If that's not topical please tell me what is.
