This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Original outer limits DVD sets
« on: October 23, 2010, 04:54:16 AM »
If you see the original outer limits series in 3 boxed sets by MGM for sale, be advised you'll have to take some or all of them back, possibly more than once.

I bought all 3 and the DVDs are shit. Poorly made, rough edged, etc. I had to take the first and second volumes back because at least one ep on each would NOT play, and using scratch repair kits did not help.

The only good thing I can say is the two best eps were on the same set and that set worked.

The DVDs are really poor, with the silver film on one being rough edged and discolored around the inner rim. Some of the others had rough edges on the outer rim. Very cheap shit DVDs.
Go an' tell me I'm ignored.
Kick my sad ass off the board,
I don't care, I'm still free.
You can't take the net from me.
